This remedy is found effective in disorders with interstitial inflammation and cellular proliferation. For the hypertrophy and induration of connective tissue. Of great use in ulceration of womb, leprosy, lupus without ulceration and for pains of cervical cancer. In pruritus of vagina and inflammation of the neck of bladder in females. There is heat within the vagina with granular ulceration of womb.
On the skin it produces and cures dry eruptions, scaling and thickening of epidermoid layer. It is useful in cases of Psoriasis gyrate on trunk and extremities, palms and soles. Circular spots with scaly edges on skin and intolerable itching especially of soles is also seen. There is copious perspiration and difficulty in maintaining the upright posture. It is useful in cases of Acne, Elephantiasis and syphilitic affections.
