Indecision, the inability to make up mind between two things. They experience extremes of joy and depression, energy and apathy, pessimism and optimism, laughing and crying. Unreliable and uncertain, they are unable to concentrate because of their constantly changing outlook. They also talk erratically, and change from one topic to another. They procrastinate and waste valuable time because they cannot make up their minds; they lose opportunities as they take so long to take a decision. In illness, their symptoms come and go, move about; pain in one place and then another, temperature swings up and down, and progress is erratic. Swellings come and go, rashes clear and then return in convalescence. Mental uncertainty shows itself in unsteadiness of gait or getting out of bed, giddiness in any position. The lack of poise and balance may also be one of the cause of physical sickness (train, bus or sea).
